Cattlewash surfing

Cattlewash

Parlour is a reef break located along Barbados' rugged east coast near Bathsheba, and it acts as the swell magnet of the area, picking up virtually any wind swell or ground swell that hits the island. At 3-5 feet, it offers forgiving, peeling rights ideal for intermediate surfers, but on larger days the underwater reef channels funnel extra power into fast, hollow sections with boils over shallow reef. The spot handles swells from the north through east, and offshore winds blow from the west. Parlour is the most consistent break on the east coast strip and rarely goes flat, though the powerful currents and shallow reef sections demand respect on bigger swells. The dramatic volcanic rock formations of the Bathsheba coastline provide a stunning backdrop to every session.
