Cas en Bas surf spot

Cas en Bas

Gros Islet, St. Lucia

Intermediate

Wild Atlantic-facing beach break on the northeast coast, popular with intermediate surfers and kiteboarders.

Cas en Bas is a wild, Atlantic-facing beach on St. Lucia's northeast coast, exposed to consistent trade wind swell and known for its raw, windswept conditions. Located near Rodney Bay via a rough access track, the beach offers a mix of beach break peaks that can be punchy and fast in winter months. Best from November to April for surf; also popular with kiteboarders when the trade winds are blowing strong. Crowds are rare here.
