Iconic Rip Curl Pro venue with clean, heavy rights.

Bells Beach is one of Australia's most iconic surf breaks, home to the world's longest-running professional surf contest and situated along Victoria's dramatic Surf Coast cliffs. The wave is a powerful right-hand reef break that peels over a rock platform at 2-4 meter depth, punctuated by gutters, ledges, and crevices carved by millennia of Southern Ocean erosion. Optimal conditions come from southwest swells with northwest offshore winds, working from 3 to 15 feet, with the prime season running June through August. The main takeoff at Bells Bowl connects through Rincon and into the inside section, offering long, drawn-out walls with powerful carving potential. The water is cold year-round, and the lineup draws committed locals and traveling surfers alike, making crowd management a factor on good days.
