North Shore's most consistent reef, high-performance peaks for days

Rocky Point is a flat, curving reef break on Oahu's North Shore, sitting between Pipeline and Sunset Beach, and is arguably the most consistent wave in the entire Seven Mile Miracle. The 250-yard-wide reef produces multiple peaks that respond to different swell directions: N-NW swells create a series of rights with tubes and wall sections, while W-NW swells light up a defined right wall and left peak combination. Best swell directions are WNW to N with E-SE offshore winds, and it works on all tides though peak high or low tend to produce the best shape. The wave ranges from soft performance walls to clean barrels to air sections, making it the North Shore's premier high-performance wave. The winter surf season from October through March delivers consistent overhead-to-double-overhead swells. Water stays a warm 23-28C year-round so boardshorts are standard.
