Killer Point is a long, powerful right-hand point break perched on the Atlantic coast about 3km north of Taghazout. Waves peel around the rocky headland for up to 500 metres, starting with a fast, hollow takeoff section that offers tube-riding opportunities before mellowing into a long, workable shoulder perfect for carves and cutbacks. It handles the biggest swells in the Taghazout area and typically ranges from 5-10ft, occasionally exceeding 13ft. The reef-rock bottom creates a consistent wave shape but demands respect — the entry involves a long paddle from a sharp, rocky beach, and currents on big days make the lineup challenging. Offshore in east to northeast winds. Best from October through March when consistent northwest swells hit. Named after the orcas (killer whales) once spotted offshore.
