Pantin is a high-quality A-frame beach break at the mouth of the Rio Riomaior in Galicia, famous for hosting the WSL Qualifying Series Pantin Classic. Multiple peaks stretch across the bay, with a long right-hander at the north end and shorter, punchier lefts. Northwest groundswells funnel directly into the bay thanks to its near-perfect orientation, making it one of the most consistent spots in northern Spain. Offshore in south to southeast winds. The sandy bottom shifts seasonally, creating hollow barrels on good days. Water is cold year-round — a 4/3mm wetsuit and boots are essential in winter (12-13C), while a 3/2mm suits summer sessions (18-21C). Summer offers more approachable conditions for intermediates, while winter delivers heavy, powerful surf.
